Baltimore blocks, a labour of love

These are some of the more elaborate blocks that you got a sneak peek at a couple of posts ago. Most of these blocks are from Elly Sienkiewicz books.
Except this one, I filled the basket with my own bouquet. I'm doing four red baskets for the quilt.
The one above was drawn by me as well.

This block needs an inked design, but what to do? Any Ideas?
This one was remade after my DD pointed out that I had put the wrong date for her birth date on it. How did that happen? Well my birthday is the 8th November and hers is the 7th November. I haven't done the re-inking because now I don't know if I want to use angels.

Janet - every once in a while I see breath-taking applique, this is happening, now! I lost a dear friend, Jean Grove last year - she was with Queensland Quilters and won Best of Show with her Mary Simon Quilt - this work reminds me so much of Jean's (Jane, to me!). I could spend hours looking at your fabric choices and your workmanship is wow! You are gifted and bring so much joy to others - thank you!

I have always looked longingly at these kinds of blocks and I do love them but mostly I have such an admiration for the makers of blocks like these. You have done a beautiful job.

Lovely designs. I see that you are progressing with your leafy quilt. Amazing that you are progressing so quickly, too. Amazing and beautiful. It almost makes me want to make one. Almost, but not quite. :) Nice, nice work.

Your applique is magnificent! Love love love those Baltimore albums, but soooo much work. Keep on stitching!

BTW Love the sweet charm quilt you're donating to the bushfire appeal. The chocolate border really makes it pop. I wouldn't have thought of that!

Awesome applique!!!!! Instead of angels, how about doing flower embroidery since you have so many flowers in the other blocks and it would tie in very nicely?

How absolutely beautiful! I really like the fabric you used for the red roses--the shading on it and the placement you used make it look like photographs of a real rose, through the computer. So life-like!

Incredible work. You're very talented, both with your stitching and your eye for color.

I echo so many of the other comments. I'm moved to know there are still quilters creating such fine workmanship. Your choice of fabrics and your skill are stunning! When I scrolled down to the grapevine in red and green, my heart simply melted. Wow! just doesn't express how I feel.
Thank you, thank you.
